Launched in 2015, OCON Built is the brainchild of founding Director Nathan Owen, as a Tasmanian builder with over twenty years’ experience, Nathan is well known for his extensive knowledge of construction, along with his honest and friendly approach to project management.

With Passive House accreditation from the Passivhaus Institut in Germany, we are passionate about building energy efficient and sustainable homes. By committing to the principles of the International Passive House standard, we aim to provide building solutions suited to the Tasmanian climate.
We maintain an active and informed role in the building industry through memberships with Master Builders Tasmania, the Housing Industry Association (HIA), the Australian Passive House Association and the Tasmanian Independent Builders Association (TIBA), ensuring you will always receive our professional and up-to-date service and advice.
